The opening meeting of the GreenLens: Environmental and Climate Journalism Training Project, in which the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) is a partner, was held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, from January 21-23, 2025.
The project aims to raise awareness among youth and enhance the capacities of young media professionals by providing training on environmental and climate change issues as well as media and news production, is coordinated by Anadolu Agency in partnership with DEHUKAM, Station de Jeunesse from France, Institut POLIS from North Macedonia, and Edutura Eruysal SRL from Romania.
During the three-day kick-off meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on the training content and expected outcomes of the project. Collaboration and coordination processes among the partner organisations were evaluated, and a roadmap for the future phases of the project was established, concluding the meeting successfully.
