The Opening Ceremony of the First Training Program within the Scope of the GreenLens Project Carried Out in Cooperation with DEHUKAM Has Been Held

Supported by the European Union, the Turkish National Agency, and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and coordinated by Anadolu Agency, the opening ceremony of the “GreenLens: Environmental and Climate Journalism Training Program,” carried out in cooperation with the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM), has been successfully held.

The GreenLens project aims to enhance public awareness of environmental and climate crises through science-based, effective journalism. Within the scope of the project, DEHUKAM participates as a key partner, along with Station de Jeunesse from France, POLIS Institute from North Macedonia, Editura Eruysal SRL from Romania, and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

The project will offer both theoretical and practical training programs designed to raise awareness among young people on environmental and climate change issues, as well as on media and news production. These programs also aim to enhance the capacities of young media professionals. The first training program will be completed on May 9, 2025, and the educational activities will continue until the end of 2026.

We are pleased to be part of this valuable project, which aims to contribute to the global fight against climate change.
