On May 20, 2025, the National Intelligence Academy organized a panel titled “Marine Spatial Planning Map: Legal Nature, Implications, and Future.” The panel was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Talha Köse, President of the National Intelligence Academy. Distinguished speakers included Prof. Dr. Nurşin Ateşoğlu Güney, Member of the Security and Foreign Policies Board of the Presidency of The Republic of Türkiye; Prof. Dr. Yücel Acer, Member of the Legal Policies Board of the Presidency of The Republic of Türkiye and DEHUKAM Leading Researcher; and Dr. Mustafa Başkara,DEHUKAMCEO.
During the panel, the Marine Spatial Planning Map of Republic of Türkiye, published by the coordination of DEHUKAM, was discussed in terms of its legal, political, and technical aspects.
