The Naval History Workshop on “Ottoman Naval Policy in the Mediterranean during the 16th Century” was held on June 23-24, 2025, at the Beşiktaş Naval Museum, coordinated by the Turkish Naval Forces Command and the National Defense University, with contributions from expert academics and maritime historians.

Within the scope of the Naval History Workshop, DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara also presented on “Ottoman Maritime Law in the Light of Treaties.”
