DEHUKAM Senior Researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay participated in the program titled “Towards the 8th Izmir Wind Symposium: Economy, Technology and the Future”, held on 29 November 2025 in Izmir in cooperation with the Izmir branches of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers, the Chamber of Civil Engineers, and the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB).

Within the scope of the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay delivered a presentation titled “Turkey’s Marine Spatial Planning in the Context of Regional Governance at Sea Under International Law and Offshore Wind Energy Management” during the session “Beyond the Wind: The Future…”.
