The meetings of the Ankara University National Research Center for Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) Board of Directors and Advisory Board were held on 24 December 2025, hosted by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).
The meeting of the Board of Directors, chaired by Mr. Süleyman Önel, Chair of the Board of Directors of DEHUKAM, was attended by the Members of the Board of Directors: Deputy Minister of Justice Niyazi Acar; Director General for International Law and Treaties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Fırat Sunel; Director General of Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Ünal Baylan; Deputy Director General for Defense and Security at the Ministry of National Defense Rear Admiral İsmail Güldoğan; Faculty Member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Yücel Acer; and Faculty Member at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Nil Kula.
