As DEHUKAM we attended the UNFCCC COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh as from 6-18 November 2022. Our Chair of the Board of Directors Prof. Hakan Karan, LLM PhD made speeches in two side events; “Importance of Establishment of a Climate Chance Regional Activity Center for Mediterranean” together with UNEP/MAP Coordinator Tatjana Hema and Head of Climate Change Presidency Orhan Solak in Turkish Pavillon and side event on Climate Change and “Mediterranean; Accelerating the joint efforts for Our Mediterranean” in Mediterranean Pavillon.
Also, our Researcher Berilşah Kocabıyık,LLM made a presentation on “Legal Regime of the Protection of Marine Environment from the Perspective of Türkiye” in Turkish Pavillon.
