The International Symposium on Various Dimensions of Law of the Sea Decisions, jointly organized by the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) and Piri Reis University, will be held on 2 October 2025, hosted by Piri Reis University.

The opening remarks of the symposium will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Nafiz Arıca (Rector, Piri Reis University), Prof. Dr. Ceyda Süral Efecman (Dean, Faculty of Law, Piri Reis University), Prof. Dr. Yücel Acer (Member of the Board of Directors and Senior Researcher, DEHUKAM), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sevda Keskin (Piri Reis University).

The symposium will feature three thematic sessions during which current issues of the law of the sea will be addressed by judges of ITLOS, ambassadors, prominent academics, and expert practitioners.
