“Sustainable Blue Economy Training” Program under the “Exploring the Blue Economy for Youth Workers” Project has been Completed

The Sustainable Blue Economy Training Program, organised under the Erasmus+ KA153-YOU project titled “Exploring the Blue Economy for Youth Workers” and supported by the Turkish National Agency, was completed in Ankara between 5 and 8 October 2025. The training was organised under the coordination of the Ankara University National Center for Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM, Turkey, 7 participants) and led by DEHUKAM’s Leading Researcher Prof. Dr. Xxx Ademuni-Odeke. The programme was carried out in partnership with Associazione di Consulenza in Diritto del Mare (Italy, 5 participants), Station de Jeunesse (France, 5 participants), Univerza v Ljubljani (Slovenia, 4 participants), and Fundació Privada Universitat Abat Oliba CEU (Spain, 5 participants).

During the three-day training, participants took part in interactive sessions on sustainable marine resource management, blue economy policies, climate resilience, and project development in the maritime sector. The program contributed to the formation of new networks in the Blue Economy field by encouraging experience sharing and collaboration among youth workers from different countries.

We would like to thank all our trainers, participants, and project partners who contributed to this valuable programme.
