DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara participated in the event organized on 17 November 2025 in Malatya within the scope of the “Geopolitical Readings with Youth (The Importance of Syria and Palestine in Middle Eastern Geopolitics for Türkiye)” Project, carried out in cooperation with the Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the National Turkish Students’ Union.

Within the framework of the program, Dr. Başkara delivered a speech titled “Türkiye’s Blue Homeland Strategy and Maritime Law”, in which he evaluated Türkiye’s maritime jurisdiction areas, maritime security, and current developments related to maritime law.

This event, which emphasized the strategic importance of maritime law and the activities carried out by DEHUKAM at the national and international levels, contributed to increasing young people’s awareness of geopolitical issues and Türkiye’s maritime vision.
