Applications are now open for the CASS II and CASS III training programmes, which will be organised as part of the ‘Climate Change Awareness in the Mediterranean from a Youth Perspective (Youth4CliMed)’ project, coordinated by DEHUKAM and implemented under Erasmus+ KA220.
These comprehensive training sessions aim to strengthen young people’s knowledge, awareness, and skills in the areas of climate change, sustainability, and the protection of the Mediterranean. All sessions will be conducted in English by expert academics.
📍 CASS II – Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Mediterranean Education 9–13 February 2026, Izmir
Participants will examine the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Mediterranean context and the regional strategies that need to be developed to achieve these goals, focusing on marine and coastal sustainability.
📍 CASS III – Understanding Climate Change in the Mediterranean Training 8–14 June 2026, Ankara
The training will address the scientific, environmental, and socio-economic impacts of climate change, adaptation strategies, and the role of young people.
The trainings are open to all young people aged 18–30 who have an interest in climate change, the environment, sustainability, or marine conservation. Travel support, accommodation, and meal expenses for participants will be covered within the scope of the project.
