Kick-off Meeting of the Project on Improving marine monitoring and reporting practices in compliance to Marine Strategy Framework Directive Held

The Kick-off Meeting of the project titled “Improving marine monitoring and reporting practices in compliance to Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MARDA)” conducted by the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) in collaboration with NIRAS IC and the Romanian National Institute for Marine Research and Development (INCDM), and supported under the third period of the European Union’s (EU) Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III)—was held on 7 January 2026, hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. Within the scope of the project, of which the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change is the primary beneficiary, it is aimed to facilitate Türkiye’s compliance with the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and to advance marine monitoring and reporting practices.
