The delegation of the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) paid a visit to H.E. Mr. Güven Begeç, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Tripoli.

During the meeting, DEHUKAM delegation provided information on the Center’s scientific research, training, and capacity-building activities, and exchanged views on strengthening institutional cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Güven Begeç expressed his appreciation for the visit of the DEHUKAM delegation, emphasizing that the engagements carried out by Türkiye’s specialized maritime institutions with their Libyan counterparts would contribute positively to bilateral relations.

The delegation consisted of DEHUKAM Chair of the Board of Directors Mr. Süleyman Önel, CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara, Senior Researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay and Researcher Emre Önsöz.
