On Monday, May 8th, 2023, the board members of DEHUKAM made a visit to the TPAO Filyos Natural Gas Processing Plant.

The visit was attended by Mr. Süleyman Önel, Chair of the Board of Directors of DEHUKAM and Director General of Legal Services at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, and DEHUKAM board members; Mr. Yasin Ekrem Serim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Zekeriya Birkan, Deputy Minister of Justice, Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir from Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Nil Kula from Dokuz Eylül University, Prof. Dr. Yücel Acer from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, DEHUKAM CEO Mr. Mustafa Başkara, and DEHUKAM researchers.

During the meeting, Mr. Melih Han Bilgin, General Director of TPAO, gave a detailed presentation on TPAO’s activities and the Filyos Natural Gas Processing Plant.

DEHUKAM board members also held consultations with senior officials of TPAO and TP-OTC (Offshore Technology Center) regarding Turkey’s hydrocarbon activities in the light of TPAO and TP-OTC’s activities.

Following the meeting, DEHUKAM board members visited the Natural Gas Processing Plant and Filyos Port under the guidance of Mr. Melih Han Bilgin, General Director of TPAO.
