DEHUKAM Board Member and Leading Researcher Prof. Dr. İsmail DEMİR gave a lecture on July 4, 2023, titled “Legal Regime of the Turkish Straits” at the Rhodes Academy of Oceans Law and Policy program. The program, organized in collaboration with several universities such as the University of Virginia, the Iceland Law of the Sea Institute, Utrecht University, and sponsored by DEHUKAM and the Korea Maritime Institute, takes place in a three-week summer school format.
Since 2018, DEHUKAM has been providing support to the Rhodes Academy, which has attracted more than 1,040 students from over 120 countries.
