The “Communiqué on the Fee Tariff for Ship Agency Services” (” Communiqué “) issued by the Ministry of Commerce was published in the Official Gazette dated 19.09.2023 and numbered 32314 . This regulation, which repeals the notification of the same name published in the Official Gazette dated 10/3/2008 and numbered 26812, includes important amendments regarding Shipping. The Communiqué’s provisions, encompassing fees for ship agency services offered by individuals or legal entities functioning as ship agencies, are applicable to all types of vessels, including those entering Türkiye’s territorial waters, ports, shipyards, inland waterways, rivers, and transiting the Dardanelles and Istanbul Straits. The fee structure is contingent upon the tonnage of the vessels.
