“The Research Project of the Legal Infrastructure Required Within the Framework of International Polar Legislation for Türkiye to Become a Consultant Country in the Antarctic Treaty System” submitted by DEHUKAM under the “KUTUP 1001” Call for the year 2024, coordinated by TÜBİTAK MAM KARE through the Presidency of TÜBİTAK Academic Research Funding Programmes Directorate (ARDEB), has been granted funding.

Within the project, which will address the legal aspects of the path Türkiye needs to follow to become a consultative country under the Antarctic Treaty, a national-level workshop will be organized. Additionally, in-service training will be provided to relevant institution and organization employees on this topic.
