DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara and DEHUKAM Researcher Sema Uyanık attended the opening meeting of the Marmara Sea Integrated Modeling System (MARMOD) Project Phase III, conducted in collaboration between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Directorate General of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit, and Inspection (ÇED) and METU Institute of Marine Sciences. The opening session began with speeches by METU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ender Ciğeroğlu and Deputy General Director of ÇED Fatih Ekmekçi. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yücel presented an evaluation of the current state of the Marmara Sea, and Prof. Dr. Barış Salihoğlu provided information on the work carried out in MARMOD Phases I and II, along with planned activities under the MARMOD Phase III Project.
