As part of the TÜBİTAK-1001 funded project titled “Research on Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods in Maritime Trade Disputes and the Establishment of a Maritime Trade Arbitration Center in Türkiye,” the project coordinator and DEHUKAM Leading Researcher Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, project researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Eskiyörük, and project scholars Çağrı Ünal and Selenay Köse visited the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center (ITOTAM) on December 9, 2024, and met with ITOTAM representatives. During the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the resolution of maritime trade disputes through arbitration, and opportunities for collaboration were discussed.
