DEHUKAM Delegation held a meeting on May 13, 2025 under the chairmanship of the General Director of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Turgay Türkyılmaz; with the participation Ministry representatives, and DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara, DEHUKAM Senior Researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay, DEHUKAM Researchers Büşra Deniz, Emre Önsöz and Çağrı Ünal.

During the meeting, DEHUKAM Senior Researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay delivered a comprehensive presentation on Türkiye’s Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) Map. The presentation covered the MSP concept, the Türkiye MSP Map, and the studies carried out during the preparation process in detail. Additionally, consultations were held on the current state of the map and areas for further development.
