The first Board of Directors meeting of the new term of DEHUKAM was held on October 21, 2025, at the DEHUKAM building under the chairmanship of Mr. Süleyman Önel, Advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of DEHUKAM.

The meeting was attended by the Members of the Board: Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Niyazi Acar, Director General of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Mr. Ünal Baylan, Member of the Foreign Policy Advisory Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mr. Kaan Esener, Faculty Member at Ankara University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, Faculty Member of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Yücel Acer, Faculty Member of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Nil Kula, CEO of Turkon Line Mr. Onur Alkın Kalkavan, and DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara.

At the meeting, during which the election for the new term of the Board of Directors was also held, Mr. Süleyman Önel was re-elected as the Chair of the Board of Directors of DEHUKAM. During the meeting, DEHUKAM’s second five-year strategic plan, as well as its national and international activities and projects, were thoroughly discussed.
