The kick-off meeting of the Research Project on the Türkiye’s Legal Infrastructure and Sovereign Rights of Offshore Wind Energy Activities supported under TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was held on 24 October 2025 at DEHUKAM under the chairmanship of the project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay, with the participation of project researchers and scholarship holders.Within the scope of the project, domestic and international legal frameworks will be examined over a period of 20 months, accompanied by field visits and research activities aimed at contributing to the legal infrastructure of Türkiye’s offshore wind energy initiatives.
