The Embassy of the Republic of Costa Rica in Ankara, the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Ankara, and Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) will jointly host an online conference titled “Regional Experiences on Marine Conservation: CMAR (The Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Conservation Corridor) Initiative” on 10 December 2025 at 15:30 (Türkiye time).

This international event will convene representatives of diplomatic missions, experts in marine conservation, and professionals working in the field of ocean governance. The conference will focus on regional practices developed under the CMAR initiative and examine its contribution to transboundary marine protection efforts in the Eastern Tropical Pacific.
