A roundtable meeting hosted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Istanbul Centre was held on 14 November 2025, with the participation of Dr. Mustafa Başkara, Director of the UNEP/MAP Climate Change Regional Activity Centre (CC/RAC) and DEHUKAM CEO.

The meeting was held with the presence of Tatjana Hema, Coordinator of the United Nations Environment Programme / Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP); Fatih Turan, Director General for Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; Achraf Bouali, Director of OECD Istanbul Center, Burcu Değirmencioğlu, Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry; as well as representatives from numerous international organizations such as the OECD and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Within the scope of the meeting, issues such as the blue economy, adaptation to and mitigation of climate change, water management, the circular economy, and regional governance came to the forefront.
