Youth4Climed Project CASS II Training Completed!

The training activity titled CASS II – Sustainable Development Goals and the Mediterranean Training Content, part of our Erasmus+ KA220 project “Youth4Climed / Climate Change Awareness in the Mediterranean from a Youth Perspective”, has been successfully completed.

Held in Izmir from 8 to 14 February, hosted by Dokuz Eylül University, the training programme brought together 20 participants to explore climate change, the Mediterranean ecosystem and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from a youth perspective.

The training process was carried out within the scope of the project coordinated by DEHUKAM, with the contributions of partners PAP/RAC (Croatia), FISPMED (Italy), Dokuz Eylül University, and Abat Oliba CEU University (Spain). The training sessions were delivered by Prof. Dr. Şükrü Turan Beşiktepe, Assoc. Prof. Ali İbrahim Akkutay, Derya Ulutürk, Mayte Corbinos Pubill, Margherita Poles, Martina Rogato and Merve Tatlı.

At the end of the programme, the certificates were presented to the participants by Prof. Dr. Nil Kula, Member of the DEHUKAM Board of Directors and Leading Researcher.

Throughout the programme, there was a strong exchange of knowledge between academics, researchers and participants; the aim was for the training outcomes to contribute to raising awareness of climate change.
