Mr. Yasin Bashir Ibrahim, Executive Director of the Somalia The Peninsula Research and Policy Studies Center, and Prof. Dr. Yahya Amir, Senior Researcher at the RAAD Peace Research Institute, paid a visit to the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) on 26 February 2026.
The meeting was held with the participation of DEHUKAM CEO Dr. Mustafa Başkara and DEHUKAM Project Researcher, as well as Vice President of the Türkiye–Somalia Students Association, Mr. Mustafa Hassan Abdirashid. During the meeting, information was shared regarding the projects and activities carried out by DEHUKAM, and possible areas of cooperation as well as Türkiye–Somalia relations were discussed.
