International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) – Mediterranean Director Maher Mahjoub and Program Officer Yaprak Arda visited the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) on 7 May 2026. During the visit, discussions were held regarding potential areas of cooperation between IUCN – Mediterranean and DEHUKAM, as well as assessments related to the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP 31) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will be held in Türkiye in 2026.
