The 2026 Ordinary Meeting of the Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography Services Planning and Coordination Board was held on 11–12 May 2026 in İzmir, hosted by the Rectorate of Dokuz Eylül University under the coordination of the Turkish Naval Forces Command Department of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography. DEHUKAM was represented at the meeting by Board Member and Senior Researcher Prof. Dr. Nil Kula and Researcher Emre Önsöz.

During the meeting, it was decided that the 2027 Ordinary Meeting of the Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography Services Planning and Coordination Board will be hosted by DEHUKAM in Istanbul on 4–5 May 2027. In addition, a decision was taken to organize the International Marine Sciences Conference in Istanbul on 6–7 May 2027 under the coordination of DEHUKAM.

Furthermore, a recommendation decision was adopted encouraging all public institutions and organizations to seek the opinion of DEHUKAM on matters related to maritime law and to consult DEHUKAM within the scope of Marine Spatial Planning processes.
