Kick-off Meeting of the Marine Litter Project Coordinated by DEHUKAM Successfully Held!

The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU project “Youth for a Plastic-Free Future: Raising Awareness on Marine Litter” was held in Ankara on 10-11 June 2026, hosted by the project coordinator Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the project coordinator DEHUKAM and project partners Abat Oliba (Spain), CRN Gore (Montenegro), and FISPMED (Italy).

During the meeting, the project activity plan, work packages, and timeline were discussed, while the roles and responsibilities of the partners and the activities to be carried out throughout the project were reviewed. The partners also exchanged views on cooperation processes to enhance the project’s impact and ensure the effective achievement of its objectives.

The Marine Litter project, which aims to raise awareness of marine pollution, empower young people, encourage community engagement, and promote sustainable solutions, has officially launched its activities in line with the planned schedule through the contributions of its international partners.
