Under the coordination of Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM), the “Workshop on the Import, Export and Notification Process of Recyclable Plastic Waste by Sea” will be held for the first time this year, with the participation of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye, General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection; the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, General Directorate of Product Safety and Inspection; and the General Directorate of Customs.
The workshop will provide a comprehensive platform for discussing the import and export procedures, as well as notification processes, concerning the maritime transportation of recyclable plastic waste, with the participation of representatives from public institutions, industry stakeholders, and experts.
