The Law on the Acceptance of the Treaty on the Spitsbergen Archipelago signed in Paris on February 9, 1920 was published in the Official Gazette dated 17/11/2023 and numbered 32342. The Treaty grants the citizens of the State Parties the right to enter its territorial waters, fjords and ports and reside in the Spitsbergen Archipelago; the right to fish and hunt; the right to engage in maritime, industrial, mining and commercial activities and the right to acquire and use property.
