Ankara Üniversitesi Deniz Hukuku Ulusal Araştırma Merkezi (DEHUKAM) tarafından düzenlenen “Deniz Hukuku Lisansüstü Araştırma Konferansı – II”, deniz hukuku alanında çalışan lisansüstü öğrenciler ile kariyerinin başındaki araştırmacılardan özet bildiri başvurularını kabul etmektedir. The Post-Graduate Research Conference on The Sea and Maritime Law – II, organized by Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM), welcomes abstract submissions from post-graduate students and early-career researchers in the field of sea and maritime law. The Conference aims to provide LL.M. and Ph.D. students with a platform to present their dissertation topics and receive feedback from the experts.

1. Eligibility

Applicants must be actively enrolled in a master’s or PhD program at the time of submission or must have graduated from such a program within the past one or two years.

Research topics must be directly related to sea and maritime law.

2. Abstract Requirements

The abstract should be written in English and must be between 300-400 words. The abstract should be original, unpublished, and should not be under consideration for another conference or journal. It should include:

• Title of the paper
• Research objectives and significance
• Brief methodology (if applicable)
• Key findings or expected contributions
• Keywords (at least 5)

3. Submission Process

• Abstracts must be submitted in Word (.docx) or PDF format.
• Submissions must be sent via email to info@dehukam.org with the subject line: “Abstract Submission – (Author’s Full Name)”
• The submission mail should include:
  • The abstract text
  • The author’s full name, institutional affiliation, and contact details
  • A short biography (max. 250 words)

4. Important Dates

• Abstract Submission Deadline: 1st of September, 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: 10th of September, 2025
• Full Paper Submission: 10st of November 2025
  • Please note that all participants are expected to submit their full papers since a conference full textbook will be published by DEHUKAM Publications. For paper submission guidelines please click here.

5. Presentation Guidelines

• Accepted papers will be presented online.
• Each presenter will be allocated 15 minutes for presentation followed by a Q&A session.
